Sacaton Red-on-Buff solid pottery, matching pair of rams having large curled horns, highlighted with red-brown pigment. Large impressed circular eyes and nostrils, wide open slit mouths. Some overall white slip surface remaining. Legs reattached, and repaired from a few large pieces with restoration over the break lines. Very rare and important examples. |
