Description: |
Grayware pottery globular bottle having a tall, slightly bulbous neck and flanged rim. The use of incised spirals in a swirling pattern was characteristic of Taylor Engraved pottery from Arkansas. Scattered areas of surface deposits. An ancient 1/4” v-shape chip from the rim, otherwise intact. A rare and elegant example. |
