Description: Two different buff color solid pottery standing figures, first a slender female figure holding her pendulous breasts in both hands. Wearing a multi-pendant necklace, ear spools and decorated head band. Some remaining red and white pigment highlights on her head. Scattered mineral deposits. Intact, exc. cond. Together with a figure holding one hand on his stomach and the other on his groin. Wearing a fancy double banded headdress. Large ancient chip on upper headdress band and missing pendant from necklace, otherwise intact. Both have a custom bronze bases.
Provenance: Private S. Cal. collection. Ex. Collection of Albert J. and Monique Grant, NYC., acquired 1950’s - 1960’s. Item # 27, 893. For the taller. Private Nevada collection, ex. Dr. David Harner collection, Arkansas, 1950’s - 1960’s.
