Description: |
Fine buff color pottery maskette depicted with wide curved openwork eyes, open mouth with a protruding tongue. Red-orange painted striped decoration over his face and forehead, painted tongue. A small striated hair tuft on top of his head, and wearing a small chin goatee. Perforated at the temples for attachment. Excellent ancient surface patina. Intact, excellent condition. A beautiful example. Custom bronze base. |
