Description: |
Patinated tan-white chert, ovoid shaped axe having a completely worked edge around the entire circumference. Used as a scraping, cutting or fleshing tool, it lacks a very finely worked edge and exhibits numerous ancient nicks from use. There are also a few modern nicks and a portion of the front face exhibits the original “flint skin”. Intact. Custom metal base. |
