| Description: |
Large pottery bowl painted on the interior with a bold geometric pattern of jagged zig zag motifs against finely painted lines; open center. As on most Classic Mimbres bowls, double perimeter lines separate the design from the rim of the bowl. Ceremonial kill hole in the center. Repaired from approximately twenty original pieces with break lines visible. A large and impressive example. |
