A large well carved mountain goat horn ladle having a totemic handle depicting a seated bear with a raven emerging from the top of his head and holding a tiny human figure between his beak. Eyes are inset with mother-of-pearl and abalone shell. Excellent overall mellow surface patina. Intact, exc. cond. Custom metal base. An impressive large example. |
