Description: Large cast bronze openwork plaque finial depicting the Master of the Animals, having a double head in the center and flanked with a large animal on both sides. Overall strong mottled blue-green surface patinas. Plaque is intact, exc. cond, missing lower pin. Old wooden block base.
Provenance: Estate of Dina Recanati, NYC., (1928-2021). Artist & recipient of the AICF AVIV Award and the Council for a Beautiful Israel Yakir Award.
