Description: |
Cream slip glazed pottery askos, having opposing spouts, one with an incorporated strainer for pouring, the opposing filler spout has a strainer incorporated in the base of the neck. Spouts connected by a double bridge type handle. Decorated with several bands of black painted wave and geometric design elements. Some pink painted highlights. Some scattered surface and mineral deposits. A very minor restored spout rim chip, and some scattered paint loss, otherwise intact, overall exc. cond. A very nice example. |
