Campanian black glazed guttus (oil lamp filler) with a squat ribbed body on a low foot base. Ring handle set at an angle to the molded lion-head spout, the discus is open and once fitted with a now-missing lid. Area of glaze wear opposing spout, else fine metallic glaze, and exc. cond. Old custom lucite base. |
