Very large carved gray volcanic stone standing male figure holding a trophy head in his right hand, left hand held to his waist. Wearing a woven type conical helmet. Nicely sculpted facial features. Both of his large arch-shaped arms are decorated with a carved relief woven armor pattern. Excellent ancient patina with overall strong surface deposits. Intact, exc. cond. A very impressive example. |
