Description: |
Fine chocolate ware pottery anthropomorphic vessel, depicting a rotund figure holding both hands on his stomach, having three large button type legs. Overall finely incised geometric decoration. Wide mouth on the top of his head with a flared rim. Overall scattered surface deposits. Three very minor ancient shallow rim chips, otherwise intact, exc. cond. A beautiful example. |
