Description: |
Excellent old mask of a monkey from Hanuman’s army, worn in the Ramayana epic, carved of heavy hardwood with concave ears, large circular eye openings and angular snout and engraved teeth. Weathered losses to forehead, left ear, age cracks. Red-brown burnished patina. |
