Solid pottery seated adolescent figure, depicted with a very large head and high tufted hairdo with incised striated details and highlighted with red pigment. He holds both hands to his cheeks, and resting his chin on his lower left leg. Painted white pigment highlights in his eyes and mouth, with remaining traces of yellow pigment on his face and body, hands and foot highlighted with red pigment. Intact, exc. cond. |
