Description: |
Red-brown painted pottery vase, of slight corset cylindrical form, standing on tripod openwork decorated rectangular block legs. Upper and lower bands of incised interlocking abstract snake heads. A very interesting glaze having plumbate type characteristics. Overall scattered surface deposits. A native type drill hole hair line repair in the top rim, and a minor rim chip, otherwise intact. A rare type. |
