Description: |
Two different miniature heads, originally from figures including a well carved limestone grotesque head with exaggerated and very expressive facial features, jutting chin, open toothless mouth, recessed eyes, large ears and furrowed forehead. Bald head with only a single tuft of hair on the back of his head. A chip reattached in his neck, otherwise intact. Together with a blue-green glazed faience pottery head of Ptah, originally from a pendant amulet having an integral suspension loop on the back of his neck. Well defined facial features. Some minor scattered glaze chips, otherwise intact. Both are individually mounted on a custom base. |
