| Description: |
Very large carved black serpentine cylinder seal, having a carved rollout impression depicting an enthroned king or god wearing a horned helmet. A large star is above him, with a standing female facing the king, holding an offering cup with both hands, and having stalks of grain from her shoulders and lower body. The additional male dignitaries stand behind her, all having long beards and wearing horned helmets. A few minor tiny rim flakes, otherwise intact, exc. cond. Quite rare in this large size. |
