Blackware pottery avian form vessel, having a large oval mouth opening. Projecting bird head with a raised center crest and pointed beak. Raised wings with long spiral wing tips. Head turned slightly to the left. Interior compartment wall in the center with a small opening at the base of the wall. Repaired from approximately twelve original pieces with some break lines visible. |
