| Description: |
Solid, heavy bronze Buddha statue, standing upright in a straight frontal stance. His right hand is raised in Abhaya Mudra, symbolizing protection, fearlessness, and reassurance. The figure is characterized by broad shoulders, a robust form, elaborate drapery, and a flaming usnisa. His square face, downcast eyes, and delicately rendered serene expression convey a sense of calm authority. The details of this statue are exceptional articulated compared to other examples from this period. Additionally, this statue is solid bronze, unusually heavy and tall. |
