Cast bronze Buddha seated in “Calling the earth to witness" mudra. Seated on top of an integral multi-tiered finely decorated base with elaborate floral and geometric decoration. Buddha is depicted with a tightly knotted hairdo and a flame finial, and flame elements on his knees, arms and ears. Remaining gilt surface, full core intact. Intact. |
