| Description: |
Antique Tibetan Thangka Lama / Tantric Master Scene. Himalayan Buddhist Painting depicting a seated teacher with attendants in a narrative landscape. A finely executed Tibetan Buddhist thangka, hand-painted on cloth and mounted within a traditional silk brocade scroll, depicting a richly detailed lama or tantric master set within a dynamic landscape populated by attendant figures and symbolic elements. The central figure‚ distinguished by his Tibetan monastic hat, mustache, and expressive posture‚ represents a lineage teacher or realized adept, rather than a purely transcendent Buddha. He is shown seated in a relaxed, active pose, surrounded by smaller figures that appear to illustrate disciples, associated practitioners, or narrative episodes tied to his life or teachings.
Excellent condition. Silk mounting showing a bit of wear. Lower wooden missingThangka itself in excellent condition.
