Description: |
Hollow molded buff terracotta rattling figure depicting a standing mother holding a small child on her right hip. The mom is clad in a mold textured mantle having a monkey motif and wears a large beaded necklace. Her hair is parted down the center and she gracefully holds her left hand out at her side. The child bears a typical sonriente type face, smiling and with central head crest. Traces of light pigment in the eyes, mineral deposits throughout, intact condition. |
