A fine and large, carved charcoal-gray hardstone, standing anthropomorphic figure depicted with a heavy browline and simple abstract facial features. Squared shoulders and linear cuts indicating arms held to his stomach. Areas of strong deposits on the surface. Two minor chips on the tips of the feet, otherwise intact, exc. cond. Custom metal base. An excellent example. |
