Description: |
Fine, small axe god figure with string cut details forming the arms, folded across the body. Deeply cut angular mouth and heavy brow. Carved of a beautiful deep blue-green stone, probably serpentine, with natural gray black festooned inclusions. Encrustation in the damaged double drilled suspension loop on the left shoulder. The right shoulder is not drilled. Overall exc. cond. Custom metal base. |
