Description: |
Deep grayish-green serpentine stone scepter having a ball or bud type head with four relief carved petals around the circumference, possibly representing a peyote bud. Tapered conical stem terminating in a point, drilled perforation through the tip for suspension. Excellent surface quality with scattered calcified deposits. Intact, exc. cond. A rare and beautiful example. Old custom metal stand. |
