Fine and large hollow pottery seated figure with wide hips and splayed legs, holding hands to her sides. She wears small ear and nose ornaments. Nicely decorated with two large triangles on her face, each containing tiny black dots and a long stripe on each cheek. Torso decorated with an overall geometric pattern painted in black on a cream ground, legs painted red-orange. A few minor edge chips, otherwise intact, overall exc. cond. A lovely example. |
