Large hollow pottery seated female having a very elongated head and angular nose. She wears tassel type ear ornaments and has hands raised. Tan-cream ground with extensive painted black geometric decoration with large areas of red-brown highlights. Overall scattered mineral deposits. Some restoration to her head band and a couple of minor spots of restoration, otherwise overall exc. cond. A very impressive example. |
