| Description: |
Cedar wood clan or chiefs hat, carved and painted in multicolors to represent an eagle, with an additional toothy face on the eagles breast and tail. Rear dorsal fin depicting a semi-abstract killer whale. Eyes inset with abalone discs, horse hair tails inserted along the back ridge of the whale. General light wear from use on the painted surface. Two 2-1/2” original pieces reattached in the rear rim, otherwise intact. A good old example. |
