Carved mottled blue-green serpentine stone standing adolescent figure depicted with a large rounded head having expressive facial features, arched brow, drilled details to the eyes, mouth, ears, nostrils, and arched brow. Short arms held to sides, plump stomach, short legs with bent knees. A natural slightly open vein across his chest to back and vein across his lower left jaw to back of the head, with some loss along the vein. Ancient loss to the rear surface of his head, otherwise intact. Custom bronze base. A very expressive example. |
