Carved gray-green stone standing semi-abstract axe god figure having angular stylized facial features. He hold both arms to stomach, tapered head with lug type ears, and ovoid buttocks. A couple of very minor ancient surface flakes, otherwise intact, overall exc. cond. Old custom metal base (by The Base Co., Peter Sinclair, 1970s). A nicely carved example. |
