Large two-tone redware pottery dog, seated on his rear legs, front legs extended. Large rounded head, perked, pointed ears, openwork toothy mouth, incised eyes. Overall scattered strong areas of mineral deposits. Tip of right ear, tip of tail and tip of right rear foot are restored, otherwise intact. A nice large example. |
