Description: |
Grayware pottery urn in the form of an anthropomorphic deity seated with legs crossed, hands to knees and wearing a fancy headdress, ear spool, and a nasal mask. Large necklace with a rectangular pectoral, wide panel loincloth. Some remains of a tan-cream painted surface with traces of red highlights. Repaired from approximately six original pieces with break lines visible, missing left ear spool and both headdress lappets. |
