Description: |
Copper bladed tool having an elaborately carved bone handle depicting two deities seated back to back, each wearing a vulture headdress having inset turquoise disc eyes. Both figures have hollowed large eyes. Excellent rich gray-tan surface patina. The copper blade has a heavily encrusted blue-green surface patina. Head of one deity reattached, otherwise intact. A beautiful quality example. |
