Description: |
Fine polychrome decorated head vessel having a single top strap handle connected to a tapered spout. Depicting a male figure with a mustache, nicely painted facial features, well formed relief nose, and rear head rim. Underside decorated with a painted red, cream and red-brown concentric circle design. Scattered areas of strong mineral deposits. A minor chip on the rear rim and a reattached piece on the handle, otherwise intact, exc. cond. A top quality example. |
