Used in warfare, hunting, rainmaking, although some scholars maintain they were
Intended to be ceremonial or prestige objects. Used as ritual objects in dances, celebrations and in some cases as currency.
Iron Ngambaye or Lakka or Kirdi throwing knife, of the F style, with perpendicular pointed appendages that are raised with engraved feathered pattern on one side and other side is flat and unadorned. Textile band is wound around top of handle. Dark black patina, some oxidized patina on edges. Custom base.
