| Description: |
Samurai armor face plate and throat guard of lacquered iron. Separately made and riveted nose guard with brush moustache and small tuft below lower lip. Bears raised cheeks, jutting chin and perforated ear covers to allow wearer to hear. Four lobstertail plates beneath are attached with lacing. Torn lace on top left plate, else exc., save for light cracks in the lacquer. Custom metal mount. |
