| Description: |
A finely carved bluish-gray stone bowl having flared walls and a flat bottom. The exterior of the bowl is decorated with a fine line engraved geometric decoration depicting two highly stylized zoomorphs, probably birds in profile having a large eyes and feathered tails. A few remaining traces of cinnabar highlights. Two very minor shallow restored rim chips, otherwise intact, exc. cond. An exceptional example. |
